Day 1

Toronto – Kingston – Ottawa – Montreal

The tour starts as the coach travels east along the McDonald-Cartier Freeway towards the first stop, Kingston. A small city rich with history, Kingston was the former Capital of Canada. See the famous Sir John A. McDonald’s House, glittering limestone walls of City Hall, and the prestigious Queen’s University in this lakeside city tour. After a brief rest stop, the journey east continues to the nation’s current capital, Ottawa. There is much to explore in this bilingual city. Ottawa, which was appointed by Queen Victoria in1860. Impressive sights of the Rideau Canal, Rideau Hall Prime Minister’s residence, and residences of foreign ambassadors come to view through a winding picturesque uphill path. The city tour includes landmark to the Parliament Hill, Peace Tower, Centennial Flame, National Art Gallery, Canadian Royal Mint, Canadian History museum($) Back onto the coach, the arrival in Montreal marks the end of Day 1. Guests are free to explore the “Little Paris” of North America after hotel check-ins.

Montreal – New Brunswick – Fredericton

The morning begins with a seasonal* visit to an old-world sugar shack that is reminiscent of pioneer life back in the day. A traditional lunch ($) is prepared from local maple syrup farms. After a full belly, the trip continues onward to the Provincial Capital of New Brunswick, Fredericton. One of North America’s oldest settlements, Fredericton straddles the broad Saint John River. Guests will tour the provincial legislative building and the City Hall in the afternoon, and spend the night in this historic city.

Fredericton – Nova Scotia – Peggy’s Cove – Halifax

The coach departs Fredericton in the morning towards the province of Nova Scotia and arrives at one of the most important seaside cities in the East Coast, Halifax. An exciting Harbour Cruise ($) takes guests for a panoramic view of the Atlantic seaside port and of Dartmouth, Halifax’s twin city. Captivating views of the historical lighthouse, George Island, and miles of shorelines are paired with onboard descriptive annotations. Back on land, the city bus tour continues to Citadel Hill, where guests are embraced with a stunning landscape overlooking the waterfront. The Atlantic Maritime Museum ($) is next, followed by Peggy’s Cove, where guests will spend the afternoon exploring the best of nature’s creation. One of the most famous and photographed seaside villages in North America, this fishing village is perched atop spectacular granite rocks, once deposited by receding glaciers. The ruggedness of the scenery is charming in all weather conditions, each with its own mysterious allure. The night is spent in Halifax.

Day 4

Halifax – Prince Edward Island – New Brunswick – Shediac – Moncton

The Confederation Bridge (toll included) is the world’s longest bridge which stretches for 12.9 kilometers connecting the two provinces over the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will see a spectacular ocean view as the coach travels across to the next destination, Prince Edward Island. The famous “Anne of Green Gables” series was filmed on this sensational little island. Guests will tour the picturesque PEI National Park, Cavendish Beach, and the Anne of Green Gables House. As the journey East continues, guests will see the world’s largest lobster at Shediac. Day 4 concludes with the arrival in the second largest city in New Brunswick, Moncton, also known as the crossroad of the Canadian Maritime provinces. The night is spent in Moncton.

Moncton – Fundy Bay – Magnetic Hill – Saint John – Fredericton

The morning tour begins with a visit to New Brunswick’s Fundy Bay, one of the Marine Wonders of the World. Home to the highest tides and over 250 million years of natural history, guests can take pictures and attempt to walk on the ocean floor before tides rush back in. Up next are visits to the magical Magnetic Hill and the Reversing Falls wherethe whirlpool created by Fundy Bay’s high tides causes a natural phenomenon in Saint John’s River.Overlooking the Reversing Falls Rapids, it’s a view not to be missed but not for the acrophobic! The night is spent in Fredericton.

New Brunswick – Montmorency Falls – Quebec City

As the coach travels west, guests will arrive at Quebec City.Enjoy a spectacular cable car ($)journey to the top of Montmorency Falls to visit breathtaking viewpoints and trails. 100ft taller than Niagara Falls and the 272-foot-high waterfall dominates the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. The afternoon is greeted with a drive into Old Quebec City. Enjoy a guided tour of Canada’s only walled city, crowned by the turrets of the most photographed hotel in the world, Le Chateau Frontenac. Until the British victory in 1759, Old Quebec was the center of New France; today, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore this historical city during free time at a leisurely pace, and experience the change in language and tradition.

Quebec City – 1000 Islands scenic region – Toronto

Pierre La Port Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in Canada, will be taken to drive out of Quebec City in the morning. Board the scenic boat cruise ($)ark and be amazed by the World’s shortest international bridge that connects Canada to the United States. Feel the crisp, gentle breeze as the boat navigates past summer cottages in the middle of the lake, and have the camera ready for capturing the beautiful landscape. Guests will arrive back to Toronto in the evening, and thus concludes this memorable 7-day mosaic journey of the Maritime Provinces.

Payments, changes, and Cancellations – Bus Tours (In-Store Bookings)

  1. (in-store booking only) A $ 50 non-refundable deposit per passenger is required at time of booking for bus tour, and balance is due by 10 days before departure.
  2. (ONLINE booking) A full payment is required and will be charged at the time of booking.
  3. 7 working days or more before departure: if passenger wishes to change in departure date, tour, or hotel category, $ 25 per passenger will apply; if passenger wishes to cancel the booking, $ 50 per passenger will apply.
  4. 4 – 6 working days before departure: if passenger wishes to change in departure date, tour, or hotel category, $ 50 per passenger will apply; if passenger wishes to cancel the booking, $ 100 per passenger will apply.
  5. 1 – 3 working days before departure, no cancellation or changes are allowed, and tour fee will not be refunded.

  1. A $ 300 non-refundable deposit per passenger is required at time of booking for air tour, and balance is due by 21 days before departure.
  2. 31 working days or more before departure: $ 100 per passenger will apply if passenger wishes to cancel the booking or change in departure date, tour, or hotel category.
  3. 22 – 30 working days before departure: $ 300 per passenger will apply if passenger wishes to cancel the booking or change in departure date, tour, or hotel category.
  4. 1 – 21 working days before departure, no cancellation or changes are allowed, and penalties are full tour fee.

Terms & Conditions of Booking

  1. Minimum age to be eligible to book reservation is 18 years old. If you are under age of 18, parental or legal guardian consent may require to board the bus.
  2. Group tour conduct by experience bilingual guide (Cantonese / Mandarin)
  3. Tour fee does not include meals, optional admissions, ferry fee, gratuities, and other personal expenses.
  4. Attraction tickets which were not arranged through tour staff while on tour are not be honored as tour group visit. (ie. CityPass, or pre-arranged tickets)
  5. First four rows of the bus are Pay-Option Preferred Seats. Please select one of the related options according to your choice.
  6. Depending on availability, physically challenged passengers (with government issued permits) may be accommodated accordingly within and/or next to Preferred seats, with free of charge. Travelling companion(s) will not be considered as support person to seat together.
  7. Your purchase does not guarantee confirmation. Your purchase will initiate a reservation process. Confirmation will sent via email within 1-2 business days.
  8. Prices may vary due to availability. We reserve the right to make price adjustments without prior notice.
  9. Infant under age of 24 months (prior to tour finish day) may book with 1 paying passenger, and seat on-lap without incurring tour fee. Proof of age is required at the time of booking.
  10. Safeway Travel Service reserves the rights to change tour fee without notice. No increase in tour fee after customer made full payment. After customer made initial deposit, if the total price of the tour fee is increased and the cumulative increase is more than 7 percent, the customer has the right to cancel the booking and deposit will reimburse, except any increase resulting from an increase in retail sales tax or federal goods and services tax.
  11. Safeway Travel Service may cancel tours subject to insufficient bookings; tour fee will be refunded in full.
  12. Safeway Travel Service reserves the right to make adjustments on itinerary and to substitute attractions when necessary.
  13. Safeway Travel Service reserves the right to change and / or substitute hotel accommodations before or after the tour have started when necessary.
  14. Hotel rooms may equipped with two double beds for triple or quad occupancy, and one bed or two twin beds for single or double occupancy.
  15. Hotel maximum room capacity is four people including adult(s) and children/infants.
  16. Living standards and practices at the destination and the standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.
  17. Pick-up and Drop-off location(s) are not allowed to change 4 working days before departure. The pick-up location is considered as corresponding drop-off location by default. If customers wish to be dropped off at other locations, please consult with tour staff on the day of departure.
  18. Tour itinerary and activities should be perform together. Please inform the tour staff if you wish to leave the tour during any part of the tour duration. Safeway Tours takes no responsibilities for any accidents or missed bus. No refund or re-imbursement will be granted in these situation.
  19. Please take responsible of your personal properties while on tour. Do not leave any valuable items on the bus or at the hotel, attraction, restaurant, etc. Safeway Tours held no responsibility for any loss or theft at any point of the tour.
  20. No refund will be provided in the event of no-show on departure day and scheduled location.
  21. No refund will be provided when any portions of the tour unused by the traveler after tour departure regardless of circumstances.
  22. In the cases of unexpected injury or death; loss of or damage to luggage or personal belongings etc., the safety rules and regulations of operating companies should serve as the basis for resolving the problems. Safeway Tours held no responsibility for such accidents and/or incidents.
  23. Passenger and their travelling companions will not be allowed to board bus if any passenger experiencing suspicious symptoms (ie.fever, cough, and/or Covid symptoms). No refund will be provided for such circumstances. Passengers may be asked to dismiss from the group tour in mentioned circumstance while the tour has commenced. It is passengers’ own expense to arrange transportation after boarding denial.
  24. It is strongly recommended to purchase travel and related insurance (e.g trip cancellation, and / or emergency medical & hospital)

Documentations

  1. It is the personal responsibility of all travellers to ensure the validity of passport, a minimum of 6 months validity are required to travel, and / or visa requirements before leaving Canada to the destined country. The correct documentation is required for entering destined country, and returning Canada. Safeway Travel Service cannot be held responsible. It is personal responsibility of all travellers whose require to fulfill ESTA application for United States’ Visa Waiver program, and/or EVUS enrollment for United States’ Electronic Visa Update System, before the tour begin.
  2. Entry denials may occur when entering to the destined country even travelers have proper travel documents and Safeway
    Travel Service cannot be held responsible, even the following documents are presented;
  3. Foreign visitors : valid passport (6 months validity), valid visa, and flight confirmation to home country ;
  4. Canadian permanent residents: valid passport (6 months validity), valid visa, and valid P.R. card;
  5. Canadian citizens: valid passport.
