    Travel Itinerary

We depart Toronto this morning, and head to the famous nickel mining city of Sudbury, Ontario.  As we pass through the Canadian Shield area, which created by the second glacier period, you will be Impress by those un-obstructive views of northlands of Ontario.  We will board the modern Island Queen to cruise the 30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay in Parry Sound ($).  We then arrive at the Sudbury in the afternoon.  The large scaled snowflake perched atop of a granite rock crater will lead our way to the Science North ($) by the beautiful Lake Ramsey.  The Science North is celebrating and commemorating the environmental and industrial developments of the Sudbury Basin.  We then travel along the shore of Lake Huron, en-route to Sault Ste. Marie.  (In the event of Science North is closed for visitors, we will visit the Big Nickel, the world’s largest five-cent monument with photo stop opportunity.)

We will board the scenic train this morning at the Sault Ste. Marie Station, and travel as far as 114 miles north to the Agawa Canyon. ($203 Roundtrip Agawa Scenic Train ticket must be pre-pay with tour fee).  We hear the stories of the Canadian Railway constructions and northland development, as the train pass through rugged mountains, over towering trestles, alongside pristine lakes and rivers, and into the heart of the Canadian wilderness.   While the train stops at the Agawa Canyon Park, you can stroll along the natural trails, or climb up the stairs to the lookout deck atop the Canyon Park.  Enjoy the spectacular sights and scenery of this memorable trip.  After we arrive back at the train station in Sault Ste. Marie, we en-route to Sudbury for overnight.

Autumn is probably the best season to visit the Algonquin Provincial Park ($5 Park access fee must pre-pay with tour fee), and view many changes in colour over the hillside maple forests.  After we make our way into the magnificent Algonquin Park, you will be amazed by the tranquil lakes and beautiful shorelines while we are driving on the Parkway Corridor.  Later, we drive through some picturesque countryside, and arrive in Toronto to conclude our enchanting adventure.
